JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Lead our popular Recreational Program with main goal to create a positive soccer environment for all players, coaches and families
- Plan programming for the Recreation Program
- Manage Recreational Budget
- Implement and run all recreational seasons, indoor and outdoor
- Lead Recreational Team to plan, implement, and run season, practices & games
- Team Formation, Scheduling,
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, local schools, and communities to promote the game of soccer
- Helps with other club events, including tournaments, clinics & camps
- Works with the Competitive Director, Youth Programs Director, Executive Director, and Technical Director on timelines and tasks for successful execution of all programs.
- Be a presence on the field and in our community supporting the Recreation Program
COMPENSATION: This is a full-time, salaried position (40+ hours per week, including some nights/weekends). Busy months are March – June, August – October. Pay is DOE. There is health insurance reimbursement available.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS: The successful candidate will have:
- Coaching experience with youth
- Organizational and customer service skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office products
IDEAL CANDIDATES:
- USSF Licensing, ideally youth or grassroots
- Elementary age sports background
- Experience with families with young children
EXPECTED OFFICE HOURS:
- Monday 11:30am -5pm
- Tuesday 9:30am-6pm
- Wednesday 9:30am-6pm
- Thursday 9:30am-6pm
- Friday 9:30am-12N
All candidates must complete SafeSport Training and pass background check before beginning employment and before an offer is officially made.
